God truly is amazing; all you need to do is open your eyes. If you do, you will see everything that God is doing in our lives. That is one of the reasons why I started this series of articles. Is to encourage us to open our eyes and see God at work. And what God is trying to teach us and open our eyes to. In all hopes that we will come closer in our relationship with God. So how did God open my eyes in the week of 3/9/25?

The first thing God opened my eyes to this week, was how vast and huge He truly is. I'll be honest, this is something that I was already aware of. But what gets me is how much we truly do not know about God. I don't mean that in a negative way. Which is a common complaint about God. That is, that God is way too big and massive to truly know him. Or believe that He is real. God is so big there is no way that our human mind can truly comprehend all that God is. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts is." Isaiah 55:8-9 (ESV). I, however, do not see this as a bad thing but a positive, and it actually strengthens my faith. For one, God created the heavens and the earths. So of course, he would have to be a huge and vast God. So, His power has to be so great that we cannot even understand how strong He is. He created life, and the universe. That sounds like such a strong and powerful God. What this means for me, is recognizing just how powerful of a God, He truly is. As I said this should grow your faith because you know what exactly He is capable of. You also realize that since God is so huge and vast. His knowledge is so much more deeper than our own. As the Bible verse says above. God's thoughts are so much higher then ours. It's like talking to someone about a movie, when the person had written the movie, and we have only seen a few clips on YouTube. Of course the person who wrote the movie will know way more then the one who watched a couple scenes. This is the power and greatness of having such a huge and powerful God. And is why Jesus has already won the battle against the evil one. Like I said this is something I already knew, but it is something that that always amazes me just how vast and powerful God truly is. I mean a theologian who has been studying God for years. Still doesn't know even 5% of all that God truly is. His ways is above our ways.

The second thing God opened my eyes to this week, is that no matter how big and powerful God is. Like I talked about above. God is with us, God is a personal God. He wants to have a relationship with us. This is why he has the two other personalities that He does. So that God is able to have a relationship with Him, and so that He can always be with us. God is not just some God that hangs out in a cloud with his finger on the smite button. He actually is active in our everyday life. And once everyone to have the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as the day Lord and Savior so that we all can be saved from our sins. That to me is the ultimate sign of a personal God. God doesn't want us to be crushed by sin and tossed into eternal damnation. It goes way beyond then just that. God wants to rejoice when we rejoice. He wants to mourn when we are sad. God wants to have a full relationship with us, with everything that comes with that. God wants to be a part of our life. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." Revelations 3:20 (ESV). Jesus is knocking at the door, waiting for us to let Him in.

These two things lead is one of the aspects that I love about God. Which is, yes God is a huge, powerful God. But as well as a personal God who wants a relationship with us all. This is what truly amazes me and makes me open my eyes every time I think about it.
